| VETERINARY FEES Up to the maximum specified for each illness and accident subject to the excess shown. Payment can be made direct to your Veterinary surgeon. Cover for illness commences 30 days after the policy starts. Certain routine and elective treatments are not covered and STANDARD and GOLD covers have exclusions relating to certain orthopaedic treatments. |
| DEATH FROM ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT Should your pet die as a result of an accident, or from an illness under the age of 10 years, you will receive the purchase price up to the maximum specified. |
| ADVERTISING AND REWARD The cost of advertising if your pet is lost or stolen and the payment of a reward for recovery will be reimbursed up to the maximum specified. |
| THEFT OR STRAYING You will be reimbursed the maximum specified if your pet is not recovered after advertising. |
| THIRD PARTY LIABILITY If you are legally liable for damage or injury to a third party you are protected up to the maximum specified unless you are covered under a household insurance for such liability. |
| BOARDING KENNEL FEES Boarding Kennel Fees up to the maximum specified will be paid if you have to go into hospital for more than three days. |
| HOLIDAY CANCELLATION If your pet requires emergency surgery in the seven days prior to a pre-booked holiday we will reimburse cancellation costs for the holiday up to the maximum specified. |
| ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE Accidental damage caused by your pet to other peoples property will be covered up to the maximum specified. |
| HELPLINE Various helplines are available to provide legal advice, find a vet when you are away from home or speak to a counsellor following the death of your pet. |
